Primarily for business reasons but also privately I have travelled large parts of the world and lived abroad for some years.
On the occasion of a journey in Jannuary 2018 to Senegambia with 'Nature Friends Internationale (NFI)' I had a conversation with representatives of a Gambian association for youth and culture in Janjanbureh (approx. 300km from ocean). During this exchange the idea and the plan was born to develop various nature hiking trails through the wood lands along the Gambia River, and to promote this trail internationally for nature friends, hiking groups and single hikers.
